Directions to First Presbyterian Church

From the South: Take I-91 North to Hartford. Use the Capitol Area Exit #29A. Follow the exit ramp to the circle. Go 3/4 way around the circle to Hudson Street. Turn right onto Hudson Street and go one block to the traffic light at Capitol Avenue. Turn right onto Capitol Avenue and proceed two blocks to the church which will be on the right. (Note: You can also follow the blue "Hospital" signs from I-91 to Capitol Avenue)

From the North: Take I-91 South to Hartford. Use the Capitol Area Exit #29A. Follow the directions above.

From the West: Take I-84 East to Hartford. Use the Capitol Avenue Exit #48. Turn left onto Capitol Avenue and proceed past two traffic lights to the church which will be on the left. (Note: You will pass the State Capitol and the Bushnell Memorial Auditorium on the left.)

Directions to the Church coming from the East.

Enter Hartford via Route 2 West.  If you are on I-84 this is exit #54, Downtown Hartford.  After crossing the Connecticut River on the Founders Bridge you will turn Left onto Columbus Ave which has now reopened.  Turn Right onto Arch Street, left onto Main and Right onto Capital Avenue.  Pass one traffic signal and several surface parking lots and the Church is on your right. 

Parking:  Twenty two spaces are available for all Church Events. The entrance to the lot is immediately East of the Church.  On Sunday mornings virtually unlimited parking is also available in the State owned lots East of the Church and across Capitol Avenue. 

The Church does allowing the Bushnell Theater to use some of the parking spaces during the day and the entire lot on performance evenings when no Church events are scheduled.
