Our Service to the Community and Others
|
Church members and friends drop off donations of non-perishable food on Sunday mornings. The food is brought to the MANNA Food Pantry once a month by a volunteer, usually Monday - Friday between 10 am and 2 pm- amount varies between 50 and 150 pounds of food a month. Volunteers are always welcome to help transport the food from the church to the food pantry (takes anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours). On Tuesdays a Foodshare truck brings donations to the pantry and help is needed then to stock shelves in preparation for distribution to clients of the food panty. |

The March Minute for Mission is for Interval House. |

The group meets at First Presbyterian Church at 4:50 PM to pick up donated food then caravans to Christ Church Cathedral where the food is prepared and served.
